Meet our doctors. Dr. Yon Ku (left) and Dr. Charles Nicholson (right) are husband and wife optometrists. They originally met at Indiana University while attending optometry school in 2002. Upon graduation, Dr. Nicholson and Dr. Ku tied the knot and began their lives together.
After working a while for other doctors, our doctors had realized a true need in not only eye care, but all of health care. It seems that the trend in health care has become similar to an assembly line: I.E. overcrowded waiting rooms, excessive waiting, only to spend 10-15 minutes with the doctor, and who know what quality of care the patient gets. Our doctors decided that they not only could do it better, but that it had to be done. So in 2007 they opened the doors to Clearview Family Eyecare. They decided to offer a very high level of care, while developing the treatments to fit the INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF THE PATIENT. Also, the doctors will spend much more time with each patient than "the big places", listening to patients needs and taking the time to do things the right way...not the rushed way.
Personal Life: Drs. Nicholson and Ku have enjoyed the Boise lifestyle since moving here in 2007. Favorite activities include hiking the foothills and Greenbelt with their Border Collies, Kona and Pepper. The city market is always a favorite, along with sampling all of the delicious local cuisine Boise has to offer. They also enjoy the art & culture scene here. You may even run into them at a local event or out and about, so feel free to say hi.
Dr. Ku is an avid reader and has an insatiable appetite for fiction. She also loves baking delicious treats.
Dr. Nicholson has a variety of interests including playing guitar, cooking, working on his car, building computers, and he loves aviation.
You will find that our doctors are wonderful, down to earth people who really enjoy their patients.
